Peace everyone,
The past two weeks have truly been surreal!
I feel blessed to travel so many places on the other side of the world..
Then, to feel so much love & be able to give some of it back..
That was much needed!
But, before I go on & on..
I’d like to take this time to thank everyone who made it possible:
First,
My Mom, Dad & the rest of my family for always supporting me..
Especially Mother Goose,
for coming to our rescue when we needed it most..
Then, Ms. Owens for taking care of me & Sarah!
Oh & also for sharing your music collection & passion!
I think our stay with you was meant to happen =)
Now, for Shang Hai!
I’d first like to thank by BFFN, Sarah Reich..
For traveling with me & helping make a 15 hour flight feel like 2..
& helping make a great trip an amazing trip,
cause we were truly trippin haha
But in all seriousness, we did make a great teaching team as well, let’s do it again!
Now, I’d like to thank Jiang & Sammy
(with the help of Wei Wei & Witty)
for putting together the 1st Shanghai Tap Festival
& inviting me & Sarah!
We had a great time!
Plus, we appreciated your hospitality during our stay..
We also appreciate you guys taking the time &
everything else to put together something like that..
Even though it ended up being shorter than planned,
we still had some great classes & great students!
They are some beasts for taking all those classes all those days!
Also, thanks for everyone who asked questions during the tap talk!
It got serious!
It was also nice going with everyone to Karaoke the last night!
You all are some great singers! I’m about to go practice haha
But seriously, we really appreciate everything during our trip
& can’t wait to go back!

Next up, TAIWAN!
I’d like to thank Anny, Ginger, Winston & Zu for being a
GREAT team & putting everything together!
As I said a few times when I was out there,
it takes a lot of work to put together a festival
or even a workshop/camp..
But you all did an amazing job, plus you were all superb hosts!
I really had a great time, even & especially outside the classroom..
Just hanging out & getting to know you four & the students was great!
I really love this next picture & what Zu/Ryan said about it..
It is moments like this even I will never forget!
I was also very happy with how hard everyone
was working in the classes!
I would even say I was proud when we accomplished improvisation!
Everyone did well & I could tell they were having a great time doing it!
It felt good at one point when I could just stand to the side
& watch everyone..

Noooow last but not least, Hong Kong!
First, I’d like to thank Kwok Wai Kit Ken for inviting me
& taking care of me while I was out there!
Even though it was a shorter trip, compared to everywhere else..
It was still a great experience, especially being on the radio
in another country!
It was also really cool teaching at a college in Hong Kong..
& not just any college, but..
As I told you Ken,
I thought I was back in the states since everyone understood english!
I would also like to thank Mandy & Eve for taking me
on the tram to the Peak!
Where there’s NO TAP DANCING ON THE GRASS!
But a great view of the city
& the mountains =)
Regardless of all that,
The students were great as well & I can’t wait to go back..
Maybe for a little longer next time haha
